2 Years of Chalachhitra! Revamping now!

Hello everyone!

Today, May 1st, we complete 2 years of the platform of Chalachhitra! This started with my research on queer representation in Indian Cinema, and out of my love for Indian films, and then my need to highlight this kind of cinema, voice my perspectives on it, and put it out in the world.

Over the two years, we have established this platform as a website, blog (this one, called Chitranatya, or the Screenplay), and finally our most exciting project: The Chalachhitra Podcast, which we started last year and is available on all audio streaming platforms!

As a full-time student, atlhough this is what I'm studying, it has been hard to manage consistently uploading content on the platforms, but we are returning with a new production team, a much more flexible schedule (or lack thereof) for uploads, and a renewed direction and vitality. So turn your Instagram and podcast notifications on (wherever you listen to podcasts), and stay tuned for our new episodes coming soon!

To the audiences and friends of Chalachhitra who have been with us since the beginning and joined us over time, thank you so much for engaging with our work and for being here!!
